Coffee Bean breakfast

THE ICONIC WINDMILL.

After being confined for yet another weekend due to training commitments,
i felt i really needed to unwind a little.
I wanted breakfast at somewhere quiet and not too far away from home.
That was when Holland V's The Coffee Bean popped into my mind.

We all know this long establishment is famous for their cup of joes and blended beverages,
but i haven't really gotten the chance to try out their eats.

Recognise Holland V's iconic windmill?
From where my buddy and i were seating, we were in full view of it.

EGG CLUB SANDWICH, 8.9.

The Coffee Bean serves ALL DAY BREAKFAST SETS which includes
the common Big Breakfast, Egg Benedicts, Pancakes & Bagels and ofcourse, the two above we ordered.
The breakfast sets comes with a regular cup of coffee or tea.
We both got ourselves a joe and we felt it was commonly ordinary.

SALMON SCRAMBLE SET, 8.9.

My salmon scramble set was not as digestible.
Accompanied by a bed of greens, the presentation was so very typical.
The slightly dry eggs hinted that it might be overcooked,
and i had always wanted mine to be creamy and smooth.
Tearing the bread with my cutlery seemed to be a difficult task as they were a tad adamant,
in which i suspect might be at least a day old.
Perhaps the meal's saving grace was their generous portions of smoked salmon.

My buddy's Egg Club Sandwich could really use some creativity.
They were just some eggs, hams, and cheese tucked in between two bread.
Indeed, Mums would disapprove of this one.

I didn't grab a bite off the egg club, but judging by my buddy's dismay,
he had already revealed quite a bit.

All in all,
i guess The Coffee Bean's breakfast sets are a hit-and-miss.
I appreciate their venture into food, though i would appreciate their coffee more.
For a price like this, it is not worth the penny.
Nevertheless i enjoyed my al fresco breakfast,
and hoping their food would be as good as the view in time to come.
